Die Landung [The Landing] \u2013 G\u00fclbin \u00dcnl\u00fc and Helene Gette are presenting an installation of hanging paintings at the Akademiegalerie in Munich. Their ambition is to push the room into new scenarios by not using the usual walls it provides. As result they created a parkour of their artworks relating to the escape plans of the “New World”, like “MarsOne 2023”. At the opening the two artists gently took the visitors hooked under and showed them around, explaining all the certain bits of their works, handing over their own interpretation personally.<\/p>\n

G\u00fclbin \u00dcnl\u00fc works in different layers with oil, ebru and oilchalk on canvas. “Camofleisch \u2013 Schinken” on the left and “Camofleisch \u2013 D\u00f6ner” on the right, both 2014<\/p>\n

Helene Gette is using mixed media and collage on canvas. The picture on the left is called: “damit w\u00e4re das auch erledigt \u2013 Aufruf zur Gl\u00e4ttung der heiligen Dreifaltigkeit” 2013. And the other one on the right: “Prachtvoll Lang” 2013<\/p>\n

And finally there was the performance-concert of their band “Big Bezness”<\/p>\n
